At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

How we support student wellbeing

School Counsellor

The School Counsellor is an experienced psychologist with training in and an understanding of child development and the problems children experience. The School Counsellor’s role is to help students, parents and teachers and includes;

Students can be referred to the School Counsellor by teachers, parents, outside agencies (e.g. speech pathologist), or even the students themselves. The school will request parent permission before the School Counsellor sees a child. Parents may wish to speak with the School Counsellor before and/or after she/he works with their child. Interviews can be arranged through the school office.
